I have good news and bad news and then some more good news.
I'll start with the bad news: I've been away from deviantArt for a while now. A lot of work and travelling (just finished a Vue expedition in the Pacific Northwest) is keeping me busy, and I just can't seem to find the time for dA. While I have no intention of leaving, I won't be active for another couple of months here.
Okay, so now the good news, first off we have a lot of new products already published and more coming out (including the SECOND materials video and Sculpted Clouds/MetaClouds) this coming week (already out on e-on, C3D will follow on Friday). We are also posting a lot of tips, tricks, and news on our facebook page. You don't need to be a Facebook member to enjoy the page, so bookmark it!

And now for even MORE good news. I've been talking about my book for a long time - Realism in Vue. It is finished, and off being printed as I write this. It will be available in - dare I say it - a few weeks!
Lastly, SIGGRAPH 2010 was excellent. Got to meet some great people and see how Hollywood is using Vue. I'll be posting details (and photos) this coming week on my blog.
So, once more, I invite you to visit DaxPandhi.com

Lol, I forgot all about that book, goes to show it has been a while
the idea of book I love. Maybe I will be rare but, have you in print is a great help. To avoid having to use over and over again the video and find where the information relevant.
I encourage you to continue taking a bit of everything. After TO ALL YOU DO IS INTERESTING!
Congratulations on your last image of Star Wars ...
It's fantastic!
I'm also working on a couple of other smaller books (which will be available as both ebook and printed).
I'm slowly starting to catch up with your vids. Just bought Materials volume 1 and will be learning from that in order to create the best mats I can for my short movie back drops.
