I'd say this is one of my better Vue creations.

This image is part of a larger Vue project called "6 Views of The Forgotten Isle". The project will show various of views of this same fictional place.

The inspiration for this piece comes from two very distinct images I carry in my mind: Isla Sorna from Jurassic Park III, and the Korean island from Crysis.

The scene uses 1 standard terrain (Foreground), and two procedural terrains (Middleground, Background). The scene contains a total of 143,769 SolidGrowth trees.

The atmosphere model is Standard, not Spectral - which allows for better control over the color of the sky and general ambience.

Fog is partly procedural via the Atmosphere, and the rest are bitmaps on alpha planes.

Comments, suggestions, and faves are always appreciated! :)

Keep watching for new additions to this series.

EDIT: I removed parts of the background layer to enhance the realism. Thanks to ~ParvezAnsari for the suggestion.

I just wish my laptop had enough power to handle and render such a detailed scene, and what you did with the fog is a good idea as standard atmospheres render faster than spectral ones, and yes, you can manage the sky colour easier.

Why is delivering things in a car called "Shipment" while delivering things by boat is called "Cargo" ?
Breathtaking, the  the dramatic feeling that the fog adds. Too bad that Vue doesn't work on my PC, looks like a amazing tool. :(
