Cool, especially how the material is created as procedural one too, not only does it look more real in all lighting conditions than a texture-mapped one would look (especially if it had shadows casted on the rocks in the photo, which were then mapped onto a rock in a totally different lighting scenario lol) and better yet...it saves memory too

what your rock needs is realistic highlights, it gives much more a sense of realism. Rocks sometimes have really blooming highlights and also enable the anisotropic highlighting

There is appropriate lighting in this. About 10% anistropic, and driven completely by the function. The highlights will show only in the crevices and since the sunlight is on the opposite side, you don't see them here.
