I recently went back memory lane looking at some of the previous work I did with Vue, not to mention my FIRST render. Figured I should share it with you all, so made a little timeline of the major milestones in my journey with Vue.

The image is 9000px wide, so please use DOWNLOAD to see it.

Enjoy! :)

Great idea...and really informative. Now I´ll check out world-machine.

Btw, what is "black haze"?

Thanks. Black haze is literally black colored haze in Vue. :D

Hey, the reference photo in the las one... compared to your render based on it, the photo looks plain and lame. :P

I didn't even know of Vue's existence until 2006 when I sought out to discover what program this deviation [link] but I couldn't afford it until mid 2007 when I got Vue 7 =p I had used Terragen a couple of times beforehand but wasn't really enjoying it  and my first Vue scene was way better than my first TG scene too! which shows that it's easily adaptable :D

some of those pictures, even the older ones still look very interesting though :)

Awesome works, all... As an O.G. Brycer I can really appreciate your journey into Vue and beyond, and also your inspiration to create natural realism. It's an amazing feat we have available now! At no time in history was this kind of artwork possible...

Thanks for sharing with us all, it's great stuff.
